So far so good. My last LG refrigerator was top of the line and in perfect shape but the compressor failed in only 7 1/2 years too costly to fix. I trust that LG has improved compressor quality to instill confidence in their customers as I received a 15 rebate which was a small financial compensation for the cost of a new refrigerator after only 7 1/2 years due to a defective compressor. But at least there was some compensation. I like the interior spaciousness. Being able to store so many items in the door storage has truly made my shelf storage more organized. No more crowded shelves

Enormous capacity Black Stainless Steel exterior complements our other kitchen appliances. The front of the refrigerator does not accept magnets but the sides do that will help keep it looking uncluttered. The freezer reached operating temperature within hours the refrigerator took a bit longer but once it reached the set temperature it is maintaining it well. The door shelves accommodate tall items but the top 2 refrigerator shelves can be split if you want to store tall items inside the refrigerator. The doors do not close automatically just a gentle push is needed and there is a door open alarm if the door remains open too long. Both refrigerator doors do need to be open to access the pull out a vegetable drawer or the lower tray but that is not a concern. So todays rating is 5 stars.

I am in love with my new LG refrigerator. Its big and roomy and looks beautiful in my kitchen. I wasnt sure about the French door style but it is so much easier to navigate than side by side. The outside is sleek and beautiful and I love the friendly sound it makes when its reminding me not to leave the door open too long.

I am somewhat happy with the product but do not understand why I can hear the water valve throughout my house when product is refilling ice maker. Do not know if this is normal or do I have a defective unit. I would assume you should not hear an obnoxious noise volume when water is being dispensed into ice maker. My previous LG refrigerator that was 14 yrs old never made this amount of noise.

So far so good is my reaction to our new refrigerator. It is doing fine so are we. The in-the-door water dispenser is great in spite of the reviews that said users couldnt get used to the pressure of the water. We have had no problem with that at all. The convenience of the interior arrangement of shelves etc is fine although it still takes some time to get used to the freezer drawer after years with a side freezer. The only other change to adjust to is checking to be sure the doors are closed completely. Our older LG side by side closed fully with less effort than the new French door unit.

Ive had it about 3 wks. and I love it My previous fridge was 26 yrs old a side by side so with the top of the new one being all refrigerator its huge and so bright Almost seems empty compared to the old one. One great feature door still open alarm helps a lot. I wish it made more ice quicker but overall no complaints and would definitely recommend.

I really enjoy this refrigerator . Ive had it for probably a month now and I really like the design and the storage areas this time I decided to not go with the slim icemaker in the door because I had a refrigerator just like this except for 1 foot larger last time in the icemaker and the door was always kind of jamming up a little bit. It worked but it didnt produce a lot and freeze up it was kind of an inconvenience so I went with the water in the door Instead and I really like icemaker in the freezer takes up a little bit of room for that produces a lot of ice and it works really well and I havent heard any problems about it jamming or anything else and that gives a lot more room in the upper area for storage. The door bins are a lot larger and so Im really enjoying this fridge I think it was a good choice. I got the black stainless steel and Im loving it.

I purchased this item as part of a complete kitchen set just after Memorial Day. To maximize rebates I had to select each appliance individually which required some effort as opposed to buying a predetermined set but we got what we wanted. The fridge has quite a lot of storage room inside. Having the ice maker included in the freezer allows for greater in-door storage versus a traditional ice dispenser. Not having a home water filter Im using the filtered water dispenser quite a lot. The light on the water dispenser works well for a kitchen night-light. Only complaint so far is not having a dedicated tray in the door for putting eggs. As for appearance I was never a fan of stainless steel appliances but the Black stainless steel set I think looks great in the kitchen.

Have a love it to hate it. Really liked it till we had to replace water filter. I kept original box for filter. When it was time. I ordered the exact one so I thought. I looked at box it didnt have a upc # it had an EN # from over seas. Looked close at top inside of both old one and new they are different. Called no one will listen and tell me im wrong. So no filter. Ice is stopping making. Dont buy. No one will help.

The water has terrible smell. No issue with the tap water. I installed the original LG filter poured 10-15-20 gallons of water. And still water has additional terrible smell. No chances to get rid of that. LG support told nothing helpful by phone.

Ive had it over a year now. The light on the door water dispenser has never worked. The right door seal isnt working. So when you shut the left door it pops open stays ajar unless its noticed re shut. Customer service was not helpful at all. They couldnt even find my registration for their product. Let alone my extended warranty. I got no where. Will have to try again when I have the time energy.

So far so good. User manual is nearly useless since it combines about 8 different models. I could not find the manual online for my model. Shelves are nearly impossible to adjust. Icemaker does not seem to turn off when bin is full sending cubes beyond the bin. Aluminum skin used on doors so magnets will not work.....

We purchased an LG refrigerator a little over 5 years ago. At 5 years and 3 months we had a total cooling shutdown on the unit. As it was outside of the warranty period LG would do nothing. A review of their refrigerators show a class action lawsuit as their units do tend to go bad. It is a question of if it is within the 5 years or not based on this lawsuit to see if you are covered or not. Otherwise you lose and the lawsuit was filed as they do go back based on inferior parts. I will not purchase one again but look at another brand.

Have had this refrigerator for about a month and am very happy with it. There is so much interior room and the amount of ice the ice maker makes is wonderful. The slim fit water dispenser on the door allows you to fill glasses cups pitchers of many sizes with ease. The only thing different I would want would be a bigger deli drawer it is adequate however.

I was weary of a deep large fridge but I found this one to be just perfect in size. I love that the ice is dispensed directly into the freezer basin vs having it at the door. Purchased almost 2 months ago We are so happy with the refrigerator We love the water dispenser function. The black stainless steel finish show literally no finger prints and their unit is so quiet you would think is not running. Great product at a great price
